This is all rubbish..... No nominations for Uzalo, Skeem Saam and only one for Generations the legacy (in the category I can't even remember) that's why I don't watch these awards.

18 Feb 2016 14:21

These awards are quite biased though... however, Skeem Saam does have great storylines but the acting and execution is extremely mediocre and not convincing, so no surprises there. Uzalo was cheated big time, and no Scandal whatsoever? hao bathong

Lol, poor Morula Pictures and the SABC. It looks as if they have created bitter enemies in the TV industry. Shame, they even blatantly put Generations in the most insignificant categories as a slap in the face. But I'm pretty sure the illustrious and legendary production wont be discouraged. Probably thinking beyond dodgy awards. On the Best TV soap category, they put Ashes to Ashes instead of Scandal. INCREDIBLE !!!! Ya Lla of Mzansi Magic should have made the Best Drama category, in my opinion. I suppose the only consolation for SABC is that it has the most popular shows by far.

18 Feb 2016 17:49

Well best soap .I am very disgusted that scandal and skeem saam are not there .shoki sebotsane(makunutu),rachel kunutu ,.Masasa(thembeka),lindiwe xulu(dawn king ) should have being nominated .lol its so funny that Gennerations would be nominated for writing while its considered rubbish .even Thandaza from muvhango deserved at least a nomination .

18 Feb 2016 18:06

I don't mean to be rude .wat did Lerato ,sechaba and Priya do in terms of acting this past year to deserve this nominations .I really do not understand how they end up with these finalists

18 Feb 2016 19:25

Those who cant deserves all the nominations that show should be nominated for an emmy. *liveAmp should've been nominated as the best music show 'no doubt *UZALO DOESNT EVEN DESERVE ONE NOMINATION 'yeah I said it *GEN :THE LEGACY actors deserve to be nominated guys . the snub is getting out of hand yeah it was nominated for best what what behind the scenes but you can't deny the talent that we see on our screen . the lady who plays LUCY The guy who plays SMANGA The lady who plays TSHIDI , they shouldve been nominated . *As for dingaan mukeba nominated for best presenter LOL . merica from yotv , Kat sinivason from mzansi insider both should've been nominated for best presenter .

Awards,Awards,& more Awards!,We love them ALL cos they got TALENT,Being an actor is not an easy thing folks.

19 Feb 2016 13:03

Isidingo got so many nominations and that show has been mediocre for months now compared to other shows. Scandal didn't even get 1 nomination!! Lead actress in a TV soap nominees should be : Masasa Mbangeni, Shoki Sebotsane and Nambitha Mpumlwana. The drama category seems to be the only one that seems fair. I guess we should wait for the Royalty Soapie Awards to see the real winners in the soapie categories.

19 Feb 2016 17:35

Yeah today ive seen the thing called rubbish in this nominees. where are people like ous lucy, thembeka, makunutu???????this is just so unfair, ashes instead of scandal? maybe we should all take part in the selection process because they are clearly failing us!

fratpack9
22 Feb 2016 16:22

I also feel like #SCANDAL and #UZALO was robbed on best soapie category, maybe uzalo didn't get nominated because some feel that its controlling idea was plagiaried from the series #SwitchedAtBirth. However, i dont think #uzalo actors were robbed when it came to acting, their acting is so mediocre... but the one actor who really stood out from the rest for me on #uzalo is SINDISWA (Jo-Anne Reynecke) she was a germ, she made me to fall in love with #uzal,  i feel she was cheated.
