Season 14 Synopsis
ER explores the inner workings of an urban teaching hospital and the critical issues faced by the dedicated physicians and staff of its overburdened emergency room.
On staff are Dr. Abby Lockhart who made the professional transition from nurse to doctor and is making a serious effort to turn her personal life around.
Dr. Gregory Pratt, now an attending, has a checkered background which won't stop haunting him.
Dr. Tony Gates, an Iraq war veteran, made ends meet as a paramedic but is now a medical intern.
Neela Rasgotra is a British-Indian surgical intern who arrived in Chicago after finishing her undergraduate degree in biophysics and molecular biology at Yale.
Samantha Taggart is a nurse and spirited single mother and Dr. Archie Morris is the relatively new attending who finds that his stringent methods don't always agree with everyone in the emergency room.
