Season 3
Season 1 of Rockville lifted the lid on the drama, sacrifices and subterfuge that it takes to get to the top in modern-day South Africa – and when Season 2 appeared in February 2014, it only upped the ante.
Season 3 shifts the focus of the narrative internally, exploring the inner conflicts that life choices and situations present.
Several new actors join the cast this season: Terry Pheto (Long Walk To Freedom; Tsotsi; Catch a Fire) and Hlomla Dandala (Isidingo; Jacob's Cross) are among those who have joined the series this year.
Others making appearances this season include Khanya Mkhangisa (Zabalaza), Don Mlangeni Nawa (Isidingo), Fezile Makhanya (Zone 14) and Nunu Khumalo (Soul City 12).
The six new actors join the ensemble cast which includes Connie Ferguson, Shona Ferguson, Boity Thulo, Lehasa Moloi, Thembsie Matu, Trevor Gumbi and Mbali Mlotshwa, ensuring Rockville is one of the most-watched dramas on Mzansi Magic.
Season 3 goes deeper, exploring the inner conflicts that reside in the hearts of the characters. This season is about the reckoning that each character must make - not with external dangers in the world, not with their family or friends, but with themselves.
